Support answers go stale the moment a product ships. Reading the live documentation at answer time means the reply reflects the version the customer is actually using.
- Reading at answer time means there is no index to rebuild every time a product ships.
- Every sentence is quoted from the page it cites, so an agent forwarding the reply can show the customer where it came from.
- One flat price per answer, whatever tier it runs at, so a harder question does not quietly cost more.
Page text is reused for seven days, so a busy support queue does not refetch the same page hundreds of times.
